Anurag's story is rooted in a simple idea: curiosity becomes meaningful when it is transformed into action. His journey brings together coding, electronics, science, traditional culture, and a strong sense of responsibility toward his community.
Anurag Majumdar is a twelve-year-old student and innovator from rural West Bengal. Instead of just accepting problems in his surroundings, he uses his knowledge of coding, electronics, and science to build practical solutions for his community.
Anurag has a unique ability to merge traditional culture with modern science. He created a creative flipbook that arranged sub-atomic particles into the shape of a Shivalingam, which earned him a direct letter of appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in May 2024.
The inspiration behind the RL System is deeply personal. Anurag named the project after his younger sister, Rajlakshmi. It started simply as a personal mission to build a device that would keep her safe, later evolving into a comprehensive safety framework for all women.
What began as a brother's promise to protect his younger sister grew into an effort to create a proactive safety framework that could serve women far beyond his own family.
His dedication to society extends beyond the RL System. After noticing serious flaws in local waste collection, he developed the award-winning Malinya Muktam System for smart rural waste management. He is also a speaker, presenting his research on the "Evolution of Zero" at prestigious scientific conferences.
